DYLAN GOLDBERGER is a talented printmaker and illustrator known for his ability to blend traditional relief printmaking, screen printing, and digital drawing. He runs his full-time art practice from his Brooklyn studio, where he carves blocks, burns screens, and editions his own prints. His work often revolves around the captivating world of animals, cleverly infusing humorous social commentary into his anthropomorphized characters.
Beyond his studio practice, Dylan is a versatile illustrator and has lent his creative talents to various projects, including product design, branding, and editorial illustration. Dylan has earned a distinguished reputation in the skateboard industry for his intricate board graphics and apparel design.
Dylan graduated from Pratt Institute with a BFA in Communication Design. During his time there, he was introduced to the world of printmaking by Dennis McNett. After graduating, Dylan worked as a studio assistant for McNett for several years, gaining valuable experience and insight into the world of printing and sustaining a career as an artist. In 2017, Dylan decided to pursue freelance illustrating full-time, and in 2020, he launched his own brand called Dog Gone Studios.
